My First Ball - just like my Mommy had.....

My First Boatride

Just call me Captain Andy's lil buddy... Eden had her first boatride and was quite the trooper. She is such a water baby, didn't scare her a bit, and she enjoyed the fresh air so much, the lil angel fell asleep on the way to California Dreaming, the restaurant we docked at....She spent the first half of the trip on deck, watching the waves and the dolphins, and decided to chill out underneath with her cousin Tybo for the return voyage. Jury is still out where her preference lies, but I believe it is on deck watching the waves...looking forward to many Jones'n with the Jones' again...

Out and About the Town

Well here our lil E is with her Daddy at our fave steak restaurant, Neil Jordan's. As usual, she was the belle of the ball, this time, not only the waitstaff intrigued with our lil angel, but the couple sitting next to us in a booth came up when they left and acknowledged her sweetness. They said she should be in a commercial because she is so cute and well behaved....it probably helped we brought her personal dvd to the table so she could watch her right brain creative thinking lessons....

Eden's Sensei

Exciting times for Miss Eden, she now has her own personal Sensei. For those of you who do not know what a "Sensei" is....Sensei (先生 ?) is a Japanese title used to refer to or address teachers, professors, professionals such as lawyers and doctors, politicians, clergymen, and other figures of authority. The word is also used to show respect to someone who has achieved a certain level of mastery in an art form or some other skill: accomplished novelists, musicians, and artists are addressed with the title in this way; for example, Japanese manga fans refer to manga artist Osamu Tezuka as "Tezuka-sensei." Sensei is also one of the common Japanese martial arts titles. Eden's Sensei is based on the image & spirit of Morihei Ueshiba (Dec 14, 1883 to Apr 26,1969), Better known as O'sensei (great teacher) who is the founder of the martial art Aikido (the way) & author of "The Art of Peace."

Eden's Mommy and Daddy traveled far and wide, over mountains, and across waters, taking special care in selecting a unique match for their little girl. In a land called FAO Scwartz, Sensei was born and will be a lifelong teaching companian for Miss Eden. Lil E loves to listen to her Sensei teach important lessons like no biting, which is one she has not quite mastered, but Sensei is patient and kind and will help our lil student get over even the toughest obstacles. May we now present Eden Grace's Sensei....

"The Path of Peace is exceedingly vast, reflecting the grand design of the hidden & manifest worlds. A warrior is a living shrine of the divine, one who serves the grand purpose."

So its not enough that Eden is the number one subject matter of this blog, now she wants to try and contribute to the writings...above you will find Edens first attempt at blogging, I know you can't read it, but she told me it says I love u all and thank you for reading about my life and times....

Another fun week for Eden, a spend the night party at the beginning of the week at Aunt Tinas and Tylers, Uncle Andy had to travel to Atlanta so we had a stayover. On Wednesday night we were supposed to go to Nannys for another sleepover, but Mommy was tired and decided to bail out at the last minute, Nanny said ok, but Eden not so pleased. Next morning, crack of dawn, Eden awoke, and headed for the car, grabbed the keys, honked the horn, and we were off to surprise Nanny with an early morning wakeup call. More fun at Nannys, going through more cabinets and getting lots of love. Friday and Saturday night, delicious dinners at the Jones', movies to watch and playtime with the family. Sunday night back to Nannys, Mommy has another weeklong trip to Atlanta this time, and Nanny gets the first of the week shift, Daddy gets the middle of the week, and Aunt Tina and Uncle Andy will take the tail end..She has no time to Miss Mommy with all of this love and play while she is gone, we are all very lucky. Also, she had her first playdate with Ava, her two year old next door neighbor, too cute, although I must say, Miss Eden is a much better sharer. I think she got good practice sharing her cookies with her puppy Sake, and Tylers puppy Tiki.
