Pink Chalcedony Pendant

Another nice week for miss E. This Wednesday her Mimi and Popi came to visit and we all went to a fancy lunch at Neil Jordan's.  As usual, Eden Grace was the belle of the restaurant, the waitress couldn't stop smiling at her, and Lil Eden graced her with a few of her own sweet smiles, actually let her hold her and rested her sweet lil head on her shoulder.  Such a lil charmer for sure.  Enjoyed a nice afternoon at the house. Mimi gave Eden her afternoon bottle and played with her in her play area that her Daddy created for her, while we got a first look at Popi's book, almost ready for printing...its very cool!  Also, Mimi and Popi brought two new cute outfits that Miss Eden can't wait to wear and believe it or not, she can already fit into 12 months sizes, so she will be sporting them this weekend.  Mark was also able to give his mom his special E present, the John Hardy Pink Chalcedony pendant that links her with Eden, through Eden's John Hardy Pink Chalcedony Station Bracelet. The stones help with insecurities and heals affairs of the heart.  Mark also graced Eden's Mommy, her sister, and Eden's other grandmother Nanny, with one as well.  Popi said a blessing over the crystals.  So all of the women in Eden's circle are now linked.   She is truly a blessing to us all, and she is blessed to have her family.  Luv Luv.

Catch up

Got to play catch up, busy few days for the family....On Saturday, Jan

24th, Lil Eden, the cheerleader, when to her cousin Tyler's game, and as

usual she had the best seat in the house, on her Uncle Andy's lap.  She

smiled, and clapped, as Tyler went on to score 22 of the 40 points his

team made to go on to VICTORY.

On Monday, Jan 26th, big night for all, Nanny, Mark, and Tammy went to a

screening of Marks film debut, "All for Liberty."  A local film project

written, directed and produced by one of Marks acting coaches, and the

entire cast and crew as volunteered talent.  Daddy Mark made the

trailer, and two scenes in the movie, I must say he is quite handsome on

the big screen, even when playing a menacing British soldier attacking

innocent people with a sword....Lil Eden had a big night too, went to

Aunt Tina's, Uncle Andy, and lil Ty Ty.  She was loved, played with,

fed, bathed, and tucked in and sleeping like a lil angel when we picked

her up, much to hers and Aunt Tinas dismay, as they were hoping for a

sleepover...I had to promise her another night, to get her in the car,

she was looking out the window at her Auntie when we drove off, letting

her know...she would return soon.  Mimi and Popi coming today, Eden is

psyched to wear her pretty new outfit Mimi got her and go out for a nice

lunch on the town.  Luv to you all.....

Eden returns home

Today Eden returned home at 12:00 from her two day sleep-over with mommy at Nanny's house.
Eden & I played all afternoon, except from 3:00 to 4:00 during her nap, while mommy spent a few hours at the Spa. By the time mommy got home we had already had dinner so all that was needed was a bath before bedtime. Eden's top teeth are really coming in & it looks like there going to be whoppers. Today's photo is of nap time with Eden's Shushybye friend's.
I've said it before & I will say it again. "This is what wipes away regret's & missed opportunities. Mend's broken heart's & shattered dreams".

Nanny's fun house

Well it has been a couple of nice days at Nannys, it’s the house of fun and activities for Baby E, and Nannys house looks like a lil E tornado hit it for sure.  So let me paint a picturethe office floor is now covered with all of the books that were previously on the bottom two shelves of the bookcase, the garbage cans have been emptied and on the floor, there is a tissue holder that has definitely seen better days on the ground, dominoes and playing cards everywhere.  Now as we migrate to the family roommore dominoes, more cards, stuffed animals, and books all askew and happily played with.  Nanny pulled out Tyler’s old toys and Eden has a new favorite, the oreo puzzle..Nanny is trying to teach her how to play, so far she can get them apart, but hasn’t grasped how they fit together yetnext trip for sure.  So the usualplaytime with Nanny, eating with Nanny, snoozing with Nanny, and loven on Nannyits been a nice couple of days.  Tomorrow off to Tylers game to cheer on her basketball star cousin and afternoon time with her much missed Daddy.  Luv to you all.

Daddy Day Care

So here are todays activities in the life and times of Miss Eden Grace....Mommy had to get up crack of dawn to catch a flight to HotLanta, but in todays case, ColdLanta.. Miss Eden stayed in her crib all night long, and then as soon as Mommy snuck out of nursery to head to the car, guess what lil angel let out a cry of "WASSUP".  Daddy got up, hugged her close and got her back down for a couple of hours when they started their day.  Typical Eden day of activities, bottle, playtime, breakfast, more pac n playtime, bongo practice with Daddy, morning nappy, lunch, more playtime, afternoon nappy, and then Mommy got home for love, snuggles, dinner and more playtime.   Tomorrow it's off to Nanny's house we go.....if we see any big bad wolves we will just run them over with the hummer, and since Eden is outfitted in her new Recarro Car seat, she will be snug as a bug in a rug.  Luv and hugs and kisses to all...

Eden's Opening Blog

Welcome to the "Grace of Eden" a journal of the Oracle named Eden Grace.

On April 24, 2008, we were graced with the birth of Eden.   We will be chronicling our journey with Eden and posting it here, so our family and friends can check in for updates any time they wish.

Today activities included:

This morning at 9:30, Eden had her 9 month "wellness" visit with Dr. Becky Eglin and passed with flying colors.   Her height is still in the 95%tile at 29 1/4, weight 75%tile at 19 lbs 8 oz, and head circumference 95%tile at 18 inches.  The doctor also stated that she has a "musical" heart.

The rest of the day was spent at Aunt Tinas, Uncle Andys, and Cousin Tylers, playing, snuggling, feeding, snoozing, watching tv,  bathtime and watching Ty play his WII,  then it was home to do some last minute playtime with Daddy, and then off to bed.    Signing off for now, going shushybye.
